Heat Station Controls

Controls turn heating on and off, set the power level, heating time or temperature, and verify the heating process. Power can be changed on the fly during the heating cycle. Manual controls such as on/off or power control foot pedals, push button and timer stations, built in two stage time and power panels, or PLC connection cables are all available. Induction Coils

Inductors, most often referred to as simply coils, set up a varying magnetic field which links with the part to be heated. The frequency, shape, and intensity is chosen to create a required heat pattern. Inductors are available as a combination of step down transformer and matching heating coil, or as a custom multi-turn heating coil. The required temperature, size of the part, variety of parts to be heated, and overall system efficiency determine which is best for the customer’s requirement.
