Induction Heating is electrical resistance heating without physical contact. An induction heating coil which surrounds or is in close proximity to a conductive part links with the part and sets up current flows seen as heat. Energy transfer is fast and precise with no preheat or wasted heat between parts. Heating takes place below the surface of the part and is not influenced by coatings or surface conditions. The magnetic field passes through insulators such as glass, wood, plastic, or ceramics. There is no open flame or hot air blast to endanger the operator or obscure the process. Induction heating provides instant on/off and power control. Repeatability is excellent. Results are verifiable.

Selection of the right induction heating company and equipment can be difficult since there are many different designs; useful frequency ranges overlap; kilowatt ratings often refer to potential output on a best load, not actual output; and skill in inductor (coil) design is critical for good results. A high KW or frequency rating does not directly translate to faster or better heating.
Specify your need in terms of performance criteria, i.e. , temperature, time to temperature, and expected results. We will be happy to provide detailed information on an induction heating system which meets your requirements.
